Do you seek deeper purpose and connection in your life?

Through DISCIPLINE, PLAY, and BROTHERHOOD, rediscover the essence of masculinity, and forge authentic connections with your inner self, others, and the world around you.
“Just go and do it. You're going to learn so much about yourself. You're going to realize that there's a ton of other men who feel a lot of the same things that you feel, and they want to experience the same things as you, and that despite what it might feel like, we're not alone out there.”
- Joey

“I got to live this week at such a slow pace, which allowed me to take in all the beauty throughout each day. It's definitely going to be beneficial for me to integrate that and to slow down a little bit more.”

THE BEGINNING OF LOS HERMANITOS
Jake, Diederik, and Daniel met on the beaches of Costa Rica, in the little town of Samara, where we were all living at the time. Along with Jay (pictured here), we formed a small & intimate circle that consisted of silly playtime on the beach, followed by sacred conversation around the fire. We have gotten to know each other in that space, and deepened our friendships through one on one time together.
The three of us are deeply aligned on this mission, and the power that these men’s container inherently hold for all of us. We believe that growth is inevitable, and that by tapping into discipline, accountability, and vulnerability, we can feel less alone as we move through the process of transformation.
F.A.Q.
WHERE IS THE RETREAT TAKING PLACE? HOW DO I GET THERE?
The retreat will be taking place at Daniel’s family home, Casa Luna, which is located just outside of the town of Samara, in the Nicoya Peninsula of Costa Rica. To get here, you will need to fly into Liberia (LIR) airport. The shuttle driver (included) will meet you as you step outside, and drive you to Samara, about 2 hours away.
WHEN DO I NEED TO ARRIVE & DEPART COSTA RICA?
You will need to fly into Liberia on April 28th (or sooner) and book a hotel in Samara (we will provide suggestions). The retreat starts at 1pm on April 29th.
You are welcome to add more time in Costa Rica before or after the retreat, and we will help you coordinate transport as needed.
WHAT WILL TAKE PLACE DURING THIS RETREAT?
Together, we will dive into many practices (see itinerary), all of which aim to return us to our innate vitality. We will also have plenty of time to dive into conversation around the dinner table, lounge by the pool, and find moments of stillness for ourselves.
WHO IS THIS RETREAT FOR?
The retreat is open to all men over the age of 18 who are seeking to form a deeper relationship with themselves, with others, and with the world around them.
HOW DO I KNOW IF THIS IS FOR ME?
We strive to bring together a group of individuals for whom this experience is in alignment.
Prior to booking your trip, we can schedule a discovery call with you to answer any questions and make sure that you are a good fit for this retreat.
HOW MANY PEOPLE WILL BE PART OF THE RETREAT?
The retreat will be a small, intimate group of 6-12 men.
WHO IS LEADING THE RETREAT?
The retreat will be led by Daniel Kudish, Diederik Rijkens, and Jake Kokot, with support from a couple of other local facilitators for some of the practices (ie: breathwork, sound bath)
WHAT KIND OF SUPPORT WILL BE PROVIDED AROUND THE RETREAT?
Daniel, Diederik, and Jake will host group calls leading up to the retreat, as well as integration calls afterwards, all of which aim to make this a deeply nourishing and supportive experience.
WHERE WILL WE BE STAYING?
We will be staying at Daniel’s family home Casa Luna. Some of the men will be staying at a small hotel nearby (5-min walk). The rooms are chosen by participants during the booking process.
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE PRICE?
5 nights of accommodation at Casa Luna or nearby off-site accommodation, all meals (local, organic, and freshly prepared), private ground transportation in a comfortable car or shuttle, a 1-hour massage, local outings to the beach and various activities, as well as all practices, teachings, and ceremonies on the schedule.
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
We suggest packing light and making comfort a priority. May in Costa Rica can see some rain, but is otherwise quite warm. You will need minimal clothing during your time here (shorts, t-shirts, bathing suits, and flip flops!)
Participants will receive a suggested packing list prior to departure.
IS COSTA RICA SAFE?
Costa Rica is considered a safe country to visit. Travellers to Costa Rica are recommended to exercise the usual travel precautions (storing valuable items in the room safe, keeping an eye on personal bags while moving around, etc…).
